I worked at "The Interlochen Arts Academy & National Music Camp" when this book was published. Maddy kindly autographed my copy. The author's husband, photographer Russell Ogg was a friend of mine. He was a photographer for the Chicago Daily News and Norma Lee was at the Chicago Tribune/5.
My daughter attended Interlochen this summer. Reading this book was so inspiring. Joe Maddy did so much for the arts in this country.
Anyone who cares would be well served to read this book. Joe Maddy's memory should be preserved and celebrated. Interlochen is an incredible place. The book is well written and extremely interesting.5/5(4).
